Our History
Founded in 1927 by a board of directors, Tazewell County Country Club (TCCC) initially opened as a nine-hole course nestled in the picturesque Southwest Virginia mountains. In 1978, the club was authorized to expand and finance an additional nine holes, completing the 18-hole course. The design for the course was expertly crafted by ren owned golf course architect Dan Maples. (Notable courses: Heritage Plantation, Olde Mill, and Whispering Woods.) TCCC is a private country club, offering exclusive membership benefits to its members. In addition to the championship golf course, TCCC may offer other amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, and banquet room rentals. Our mission is to provide a premier golfing experience in the heart of Southwest Virginia, fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.
